Watershed Planning Commission

A nine-member citizen advisory Watershed Planning Commission (WPC) consists of eight members from Dakota County and one from Scott County. The WPC guides implementation of the watershed plan, annual work plans, and budget through recommendation to the VRWJPB.

The current Watershed Planning Commissioners are: Tony Wotzka, Mark Henry, Ken Betzold, Jim Guttmann, Jeanie Fredlund, Brian Rohrenbach, Chuck Clanton, and Carolyn Miller.

One Dakota County representative position on the Watershed Planning Commission is vacant. Apply to be a Watershed Planning Commissioner by completing an application form for advisory groups in the county where you live: Scott County or Dakota County.

The WPC typically meets on the second Wednesday of each month (except November), at 3:30 p.m. in room 334 at the Western Service Center in Apple Valley.
