A nine-member citizen advisory Watershed Planning Commission (WPC) consists of eight members from Dakota County and one from Scott County. The WPC guides implementation of the watershed plan, annual work plans, and budget through recommendation to the VRWJPB.
The current Watershed Planning Commissioners are: Tony Wotzka, Mark Henry, Ken Betzold, Brian Rohrenbach, Chuck Clanton, Carolyn Miller, Josh Borton, and Bruce Rydeen. One Dakota County seat is vacant.
Apply to be a Watershed Planning Commissioner by completing an application form for advisory groups in the county where you live: Scott County or Dakota County.
The WPC typically meets on the second Wednesday of each month (except November), at 3:30 p.m. in Conference Room A at the Dakota County Extension and Conservation Center in Farmington.
