Agricultural Chemical Reduction Effort (ACRE)

Dakota County has been developing the Agricultural Chemical Reduction Effort (ACRE) Plan over the past year, in consultation with residents, the farming community, an agricultural advisory group, technical advisory group, other stakeholders and the Dakota County Planning Commission and County Board. The draft Plan presents a range of strategies for addressing difficult water quality challenges related to agricultural practices. The public can review and comment on the Dakota County draft ACRE Plan. Go to www.co.dakota.mn.us, search ACRE. The review and comment period is open from July 20 to September 6, 2022.
