Listen to speakers from the City of Eagan, Soil & Water Conservation District (SWCD), Vermillion River Watershed Joint Powers Organization (VRWJPO), and Conservation Minnesota. This outdoor, farmers’-market-style event is open to all. In addition to multiple native plant vendors, there will be informational booths where attendees can talk with individuals from Dakota County Soil & Water Conservation District, Dakota County Master Gardeners, and the City of Burnsville natural resources group.
The Vermillion River Watershed Joint Powers Board (VRWJPB) is the governing body of the Vermillion River Watershed Joint Powers Organization (VRWJPO). The VRWJPB consists of two Commissioners from Dakota County and one Commissioner from Scott County. The VRWJPB makes decisions about VRWJPO policy, budget, and actions. The agenda and full packet of items for discussion are posted here at least one week before the meeting.

After attending you can sign up to receive design and installation assistance. Some Dakota County residents will qualify for a $250 grant to install their new gardens.
