Vermillion River Watershed Joint Powers Organization Public Hearing on the Draft VRWJPO 2022 Budget
Notice is hereby given that the Vermillion River Watershed Joint Powers Organization (VRWJPO) will hold a public hearing at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 26, 2021. This public hearing is to receive comments on the draft VRWJPO 2022 Budget and Watershed Management Tax District Levy. It will take place at the Dakota County Extension and Conservation Center Conference Room A, 4100 220th Street West, Farmington, MN. Because the Extension and Conservation Center remains locked due to COVID-19, advance notice of intent to attend in person is appreciated, but not required, to VRWJPO Administrator Mark Zabel at mark.zabel@co.dakota.mn.us or 952-891-7011. Agencies, groups, or individuals attending the public hearing will have the opportunity to provide written or oral comments. Prior to the public hearing, written comments may be addressed to the VRWJPO, 4100 220th Street West, Suite 103, Farmington, MN 55024, or emailed to Mark Zabel.
The draft VRWJPO 2022 Budget and Watershed Management Tax District Levy can be viewed online at www.vermillionriverwatershed.org/news. Paper copies of the draft VRWJPO 2022 Budget and Watershed Management Tax District Levy, as well as requests for any special accommodations at the public hearing, can be obtained by contacting Brita Moore-Kutz at brita.moore-kutz@co.dakota.mn.us or 952-891-7967.
This meeting will be held in person and accessible via Zoom. Following other business, the Board will visit two project sites in the watershed per their request.

Please note, the December 2, 2021 Vermillion River Watershed Joint Powers Board meeting will take place in-person in Conference Room A at the Extension and Conservation Center, 4100 220th Street West, Farmington Minnesota and via teleconference on the web-based application, Zoom. Due to the increase in cases of COVID 19 in our area, Dakota County requires masks to be worn inside all Dakota County facilities.
Commissioner Wolf will be attending the meeting via interactive technology from his home at 19225 Fox Field Dr., Prior Lake, MN. Commissioner Wolf intends to continue attendance via interactive technology while masks are required to be worn at the regular meeting location. Notice will be provided of his location for future meetings.
